Crazy Eights

Goal: Be the first to empty your hand and score points from the cards left in your opponent's hand. First to 100 points wins the game.

Setup: A standard 52-card deck is used. Each player is dealt 7 cards, and one card is placed face-up to start the discard pile.

How to play: On your turn, play a card that matches the top of the discard pile by rank or suit. Eights are wild – play one at any time and choose the new suit.

Drawing: If you have no valid card to play, click the stock pile to draw a card. If the drawn card can be played, you may play it immediately.

Scoring:
• Eights = 50 points
• Face cards (J, Q, K) = 10 points
• All other cards = face value (A = 1)

Winning: When a player empties their hand, the round ends. The winner scores the total value of cards remaining in the opponent's hand. The game continues until someone reaches 100 points.
