Tower of Hanoi
Move the entire stack of discs to another peg – but you can never place a larger disc on a smaller one.
Goal: Move the entire stack of discs from the first peg to the third peg.
How to move: Click a peg to pick up its top disc – the disc will lift visually. Then click another peg to place it there. If the move is invalid (placing a larger disc on a smaller one), the disc returns to its original peg.
Rules: You may only move one disc at a time, and a disc can only be placed on an empty peg or on top of a larger disc. That's it – simple rules, but a real brain-teaser!
Difficulty: Choose between 3 discs (Easy – 7 moves optimal), 5 discs (Medium – 31 moves optimal), or 7 discs (Hard – 127 moves optimal).
Moves & Par: Your move count is tracked above the board alongside the optimal (par) number of moves. Try to solve it in as few moves as possible!
Undo: Click Undo to reverse your last move. You can undo as many times as you like.
